DeleteI like these ideas, but have concerns about the possibility of lead-based paint on these old pieces.
ReplyDeleteThat's absolutely a possibility when working with salvaged materials. If you suspect lead paint due to paint alligatoring (which is one of the first signs of lead paint) then either avoid that particular material or do a home lead-test (available at hardware stores.)
Delete
